Customer issues
The customer, an automotive manufacturer, has assembly lines. At the end of the line, operators pick parts from crates to feed the production line. The customer wanted a product that would enable the line to be fed continuously, and that the operators would be able to use at their leisure.

- Load one case/pallet while the operator picks or loads from the other case/pallet

How we work
After discussions with the production manager and the ergonomists in charge of the project, detailed specifications were drawn up. The Manergo design office was keen to comply with every essential point in the specifications in order to satisfy the customer's requirements.
Proposed product
Turntable with 2 tilting plates, controlled by manual power via foot pedal and 0/180° indexing. The operator uses his foot to release the rotation of the turntable, and with the help of his arms starts the rotation of the turntable. Indexing stops the rotation at the point decided by the customer. This double rotary table is equipped with 2 tilting tables which ensure ergonomic positioning of the products contained in the case.
During the unloading phase, the operator operates the joystick to tilt the case, giving better access to the contents. The crate tilts by 30°, making the bottom of the container accessible.
